CONTENT PRODUCER - MIGUEL ENA
My name is Miguel Ena and I work as a freelance communications professional.
On the one hand, I have experience as a sports photographer working for events, athletes, brands, etc. The following page illustrates this experience with work mainly done for SprintCycling.
I recognize the team's great groundwork, with a commitment to local talent combined with world-class cyclists. Your attitude on the road, racing as a team, has quickly made you a force to be reckoned with.
In terms of communication, I particularly liked this year's early season session, as well as the Oakley campaign by Widen Production.
As a side note, I have a special fondness for Julian Alaphilippe. A photo of him in 2019, when he was leading Le Tour, allowed me to win the Mark Gunter contest.
Early season race coverage allowed me to document at least two wins and several highlights for the team, with Marc Hirschi leading the way.
I think that content from within is interesting, but at the same time it's already been done to death and can sometimes be intrusive for cyclists. It needs new formulas. I'm aware of success stories such as the conversations between Campenaerts and Jorgeson (Jumbo) or the work of Pablo Ordorica at Movistar. Something fresher and more relatable.
My latest major experience has been linked to soccer and basketball for the Baskonia-Alavés group, working in an exceptional department that has allowed me to explore all aspects of photography (corporate, product, sports, studio, etc.) as well as interacting with different departments.
Although, as you can see, my strength is photography, I have worked on other technical skills such as video recording and editing with Premiere, as well as using DaVinci and After Effects.
Here an example: La Magia del Grial spot
While developing my skills with the camera, I have also trained in the field of motion graphics, a complementary technique that could serve to reinforce the innovative and elegant image of the Tudor team and brand.
In terms of languages, although I don't speak German—any learning is welcome—I can get by in English and have some French notions.
I'm used to traveling for work. This past month, I was covering a historic finish of La Vuelta for the organization after attending the Simac Ladies Tour for Sprint Cycling.
I would like to say that I believe in cycling as a social mirror, as a tool for physical well-being, and for its transformative power with a narrative that is more than inspiring for the fan base. My professional goal is to work for Getty Images as a staff photographer, so this would be a more than enriching experience in which both parties could come out stronger.
That's all for the moment.
¡Un saludo!
